Liquids: containers of 100 ml or less, all inside one transparent resealable 1 litre bag. Baby food, medication and sealed duty free purchases are exempt.
Power banks and batteries
Lithium batteries travel in the cabin, never in the hold. Since 2025 most carriers also ban using or charging a power bank during the flight.

Checked baggage
JetBlue charges for checked baggage on every fare except Mint. Prices move with the season and with how close to departure you book: $45 for the first bag off-peak, $49 at peak, and more again on transatlantic routes. Adding a bag at least 24 hours ahead saves up to $10.

Checked bags by fare
Every Main and EvenMore fare pays the same for baggage, from Base to Flex, so the money you spend moving up that ladder buys seats and flexibility. Only Mint includes bags.

Those are off-peak prices within the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada. Peak dates cost $49 and $69, and transatlantic routes cost $75 and $109, or $85 and $119 at peak. A third bag is $200 anywhere. Ecuador is capped at two bags, as are Guyana, Haiti and Trinidad and Tobago between 16 November and 15 January.
Excess baggage fees
JetBlue charges each category that applies, so an overweight and oversized bag pays both.

Overweight and oversized bags are only carried if there is room on the aircraft, and they are refused outright on flights to and from the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Port of Spain. Bag fees are refundable only if the whole booking is cancelled.

Delayed and damaged bags follow a strict clock. Most claims fail because the report was made after leaving the airport.
Report before you leave the hall
Go to the JetBlue Airways baggage services desk in the arrivals baggage hall. You get a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) with a 10 character reference. Without it there is no claim.

Use the reference and your surname on the JetBlue Airways baggage tracing page. Most delayed bags arrive within 48 hours and are delivered to your address free of charge.

Essentials bought while the bag is missing can be claimed. Damage must be reported within 7 days, delayed bag expenses within 21 days of delivery, under the Montreal Convention.
